Dean’s list

• Local students have been recognized by Cedarville University for being named to the dean’s honor list for the spring semester. Among them was Brianna Stangline from Scott Township.

• More than 2,000 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. Among them was Kaylee B. Lorenzetti of Archbald.

• Students at Lehigh University attained dean’s list in the spring semester including Mason Black of Archbald, Alan Brucher of Browndale, Nicolas Catanzaro of Childs and Menglin Jiang of Peckville.

• Holly Young of Olyphant was named to Susquehanna University’s dean’s list for the spring semester.

• Brianna Farber, of Carbondale, has been named to the Becker College Dean’s List for the spring semester.

• Jamie Maher of Carbondale was named to the spring president’s list at Hudson Valley Community College.

• Slippery Rock University has announced the students who made dean’s list for the spring semester. Among them are Molli Campbell and Megan Kausmeyer, both of Mayfield.

• Cassandra Dumas of Peckville was named to the Emory & Henry College spring dean’s list.

• Ashley Burdyn of Jessup was named to the dean’s list at Elizabethtown College for the spring semester.

College grads

• Jasentha Van Nort of Carbondale graduated from York College of Pennsylvania on May 18. Van Nort earned a Bachelor of Arts in professional writing.

• Cedar Crest College held its commencement ceremony recently. Among the graduates was Brianna Houman of Mayfield, who earned a degree in integrated biology.

• At the Northampton Community College spring commencement ceremony, Luke Wildenstein of Forest City, graduated with an associate’s degree in applied science in media production.

• Local residents were among more than 850 bachelor’s and associate’s degree recipients at the University of Scranton’s undergraduate commencement. Students earning undergraduate degrees include: Casie L. Berkhouse of Archbald, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy; Jared M.
