Softball Clinic

Carbondale Area’s annual softball clinic, an afternoon of instruction from the Carbondale Area Chargerettes players and coaches, will be held Sunday, March 10, 1-4 p.m. at Carbondale Area High School Gym. Students in grades one through six are welcome. T-shirt and snack will be provided. Cost is $20 per child. Deadline for applying is Friday, March 1. Cornhole Tournament

The William Walker Hose Co., 803 Penn Ave. in Mayfield, will hold a cornhole tornament on Saturday March 16. Registrations starts at noon; the first toss is at 1 p.m. Payment needed to hold your spot: $50 per team. Cash prizes will be awarded. Basket raffles will be held. YMCA Fitness

At the Greater Carbondale YMCA, 82 N. Main St., Carbondale. Swim Lessons: The next session of eight-week progressive lessons will run on Saturday mornings beginning March 2, Monday evenings beginning March 4 or Wednesday evenings beginning March 6. Saturdays, 9-10 a.m. Low-impact aerobics classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to noon. Call

DCCC fitness

At the Dickson City Civic Center, 935 Albert St.

• Senior Fitness: Betsy’s low-impact fitness class for seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-10 a.m. Classes are free for Dickson City residents. Non-residents may join for a $10 annual fee.

• Betsy’s Boot Camp: fitness classes combine cardio, step, kickboxing and weight training to help you reach your fitness goals. Classes run Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
