The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce welcomed Keystone College student Shawn Whitiak and business partners Michelle Mendez and Paula Corrales to its new TekRidge Center business incubator in Jessup during recent ceremonies.

Whitiak and his partners will use the facility as home to their new company, Besta Cork, which manufactures environmentally friendly products made from cork. Besta Cork was a first-place finisher in the 2013 Business Plan Competition sponsored by the Great Valley Technology Alliance.
