The Carbondale Area Chargers, led by head coach Landon Gabriel, have a solid front court with big men Raymond Ofner and Jaheim Brooker returning to the starting lineup.

The guards however, are young and inexperienced. Carbondale Area will rely on the inside play of Ofner and Brooker while the guards are being developed.

“We’ll play to our strengths of inside play throughout the season while developing our young guards,” said Gabriel. “We expect to compete every night.”

Carbondale Area opens the season at Elk Lake on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:15 p.m.
